SEO: Three Important Aspects

Search engine optimization (SEO) is not just about search results or rankings. It's more than that. SEO helps marketers to portray precise brand message and product picture to their target audience. It is also about customer convenience. By choosing right SEO tags (title, meta description and keywords), marketers help customers find information about concepts or things that are really important for them. Hence, it bridges the gap between information and customers. Today, brands are paying extra attention to their SEO efforts to deliver sustainable online presence. A good SEO effort can always reflect into brand consistency across the web. Hence, it is necessary to look beyond traditional outlook of SEO.

I wish to discuss some important aspects that I find very critical in designing stable and consistent SEO delivery. Let's talk about the broader SEO concept that adds value to the overall online visibility.

1) Brands: It's definitely about brands. Brand visibility paves the way for increased profitability and customer base. The real challenge lies in incorporating the branding aspect within SEO delivery. This can only be delivered through stable content delivery. While doing SEO, it is important to highlight brand visibility, stability, and precise marketing message. This branding aspect is crucial in terms of market competition. This is an opportunity to create individual identity in this crowded web market.

2) Customers: Customers are at the core of SEO activities. Before going to the market, marketers need to understand their customers. Understanding customers' preferences, problems, requirements and convenience, marketers will be able to deliver stable and consistent SEO strategy. Marketers should know what to promote and how much to promote to stand out from the competition. SEO is not about bombarding customers with keywords or tags, it's about creating right brand picture in front of them. This factor determines the success ratio of any SEO plan.

3) Content: Ideally, it should come before any other aspect, however, it is necessary to explain other concepts to enhance content importance. Be it branding or customers, content preciseness is required to get desired results. After you are clear about your brand objectives and customers' preference, it is required to deliver content that bridges the gap between two. Marketers should rely on content to portray right marketing message in front of the customers through SEO.

Three Ways to Create Quality Content

When it comes content, sometimes, it becomes hard to explain the “quality”. There could be different understandings for brands and the customers when we talk about quality. Hence, sometimes, it becomes difficult to strike a balance to attain that much-needed quality. To quote, Doug Kessler, co-founder of Velocity: “Quality content resonates with its audience. If it doesn’t do that, it may be smart or beautiful or funny, but it ain’t quality.” And I completely agree to what Doug says. The quality of the content should depend on how users interact and respond to it. There are different aspects associated with the content quality. For example, what value it gives to the users, is it addressing buyers’ concerns or not and the list continues. While agreeing to all the above mentioned points, it really seems difficult challenge for the marketers to achieve that quality on regular basis. And besides what suits to one person may not be the ideal for other. Here are some useful tips t

How are you engaging your Facebook fans? Do you have exclusive strategies for them? You need to be. You need to treat your Facebook fans like your existing customers. You really have to value them to make them happy, active and responsive on your fan page. You need to make them a part of your marketing strategy to convert them in to your loyal customers. Facebook Fan Page and Linked Groups: The Significance for Marketers

Facebook's yesterday's announcement of making Groups for Pages available around the world really holds a great significance for marketers. There are over 70M Pages on Facebook and this development will change the how fans interact with the brands on Facebook. Now Page owners have the capability to create their own linked and dedicated groups to encourage community building and stable conversation mechanism. As pointed out by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, "more than 100 million people on Facebook are members of what we call "very meaningful" groups." This makes the groups feature one of the significant and popular features of Facebook. This also encourages the platform to make constant improvements to this popular feature. And this development proves it all. Last month, Facebook also announced some significant improvements to the Groups.
