Measuring your social media performance

We have been talking about social media and its influence on current business strategies. No doubt, social media has really changed the way in which businesses are marketing and branding their products and services. However, the need is to measure your social media performance on a regular basis.

Now, the question arises how can you really measure your social media performance, and how much time you can really spend on it?

The first and foremost way to measure your performance is analytics. You can use Google Analytics or any other analytics service to see how these platforms are working for you in terms of getting visitors to your site.

The other way is to see how much are you popular on these platforms. Are any other users are talking about you or sharing your content on these platforms. This can be done through several free tools, such as HowSociable, SocialMention. These tools can also be used to check popularity of any particular keyword of your interest on these social platforms.

Although these tools are freely available, you must know how to use to get maximum output from them. Therefore, it is very necessary to implement very robust measurement strategy in place for these platforms.
